Alaska Saltwater Fishing

Drifters Lodge is located between two of the best salt water fisheries accessible.  Alaska Prince William Sound and Alaska’s Cook Inlet. We work with a few of the best charter companies.
Whether you want to fish from your own private captained fishing boat or want to go out on a large 45 – 65 ft boat with 10 to 15 fisherman we can help you.

A private boat (up to 6 people) is usually about 28 - 32 ft and can have 2 or 3 different groups on them at the same time or you can rent them solely for your own party for about 1400-1600 for the day.  They are a little faster and  can go to more fishing holes and have a deck hand.

The larger boats are more stable on the water and many people prefer them in the Alaska waters. You rent a spot on the boat and usually have two or more deck hands who are there to help you.

The great thing about fishing in the ocean, these boats take part of the same routes the sight-seeing boats go.  However, the sightseeing boats are much larger and are narrated by a wildlife expert, truly an educational experience.
