Embark on unforgettable Alaska fishing trips, featuring world-class catches, expert guides, and breathtaking wilderness!
Nestled in the heart of Cooper Landing, our Alaska fishing lodge sits at the strategic crossroads of the Kenai Peninsula’s finest fishing destinations. With the world-famous Kenai River at our doorstep and easy access to Seward and Homer, we offer the perfect base camp for the ultimate Alaskan fishing adventure.
Cooper Landing isn’t just another stop on the Sterling Highway – it’s where Alaska’s most legendary fishing stories begin. Our lodge’s location at the headwaters of the Kenai River provides immediate access to the Upper Kenai’s crystal-clear waters, where trophy rainbow trout and salmon await.
This historic community, surrounded by the Chugach National Forest and Kenai Mountains, offers the authentic Alaska experience visitors dream about.
The Upper Kenai River, flowing from Kenai Lake through Cooper Landing, presents some of Alaska’s most pristine fishing waters. Here, the river runs clear rather than glacial, allowing anglers to sight-fish for massive rainbow trout and witness the thrilling spectacle of salmon moving through the pools and runs.
Famous for its accessibility and consistent sockeye runs, the Russian River offers excellent sight fishing opportunities. This clear-water tributary of the Kenai sees two distinct sockeye runs – one in June and another in July – plus exceptional trout fishing throughout the season.
The Russian River’s clear waters and wadeable size make it perfect for anglers who prefer bank fishing. The famous “Russian River Combat Fishing” during peak sockeye runs is a unique Alaska experience, where anglers line the river shoulder to shoulder during the peak of the run.
Beyond salmon, the Russian River offers excellent Dolly Varden and rainbow trout fishing. These fish grow large, feeding on salmon eggs and flesh, providing exciting fishing opportunities throughout the season.
