Drifters Lodge can comfortably accommodate parties of up to 16 depending on the group dynamics. More importantly, we can help you keep everyone on track for a less stressful vacation!
We have hosted family reunion trips, groups of fishing buddies, and small corporate retreats. It’s always a blast!
Have you been nominated as the group organizer?
That’s a big job. Here are some ways we can help you out:
Here’s the thing: staying at Drifters Lodge the whole time may or may not be the best way to accomplish your trip goals. We won’t shy away from recommending what makes the most sense for your group. If fishing is the primary purpose of the trip, staying with us makes perfect sense. However, for example, if interests are split between saltwater activities and river trips, we may suggest you stay in Seward or Homer a couple of nights before joining us at Drifters Lodge for some river fishing.
A list can be easily shared with the group by email, so you don’t have to describe everything five times. This can be especially helpful if you are in the early stages of planning. The group may all be excited about the idea of coming to Alaska, but not yet know their options.
There’s always someone in the group who comes up with two dozen ultra-specific questions. Have them call us! We are more than happy to talk through fishing details and other logistics to reduce travel anxiety.
Each group member can pay for their portion of the reservation independently if desired.
